＊Dupion silk in the weft is uneven in thickness.     It is the nature of this silk  as it is reeled from the double cocoons.    Therefor unevenness of this fabric is not the weaving defect, but an attraction.

＊As it was dyed many times with indigo, the color may transfer with strong friction.     Wash separately.

 About washing
Hand-washing separately is recommended. Put a little neutral detergent in lukewarm water, lightly press and wash by hand. After washing, place on a towel etc. to drain the water, then dry in the shade. Dry naturally or apply steam iron gently. Dry cleaning is also possible.
